Design has become democratized and is accessible to just about everyone via websites and social media BUT that does not mean that all design projects are created equal. The difference lies in the execution, the red line that runs from initial concept, to sourcing, to project management and final installation.
Our mission is to provide Design Professionals with concise information about products and brands and offer technical insights into how things are designed, made, fabricated, installed, built or managed. Our goal is to help design pros steadily elevate their value proposition by increasing their technical knowledge in all areas of kitchen, bath and interior design.
“Knowledge is Profit – The more Design Pros know, the greater their value proposition”

Jamie’s Super Power: She works with clients to uncover what they mean when they say they ‘want simple technology’ and provides that experience through design-oriented solutions that bring together Design + Technology + Life. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for CEDIA and acts as the board liaison to the Industry Relations Advisory Council, created to connect the design community with the technology community. She’s been listed as a Powerful Woman in Consumer Technology and draws on her original journalistic dreams as she writes, speaks, and presents to various groups about the value of designing with technology in mind and the power of collaboration. ” The Design Uncut team delivers engaging, thought-provoking conversations that resonate with both designers and technology integrators. This was most definitely the case before, during, and after Cedia Expo Virtual in 2020 and we’re thrilled to have Modenus Media’s Veronika Miller and KMB Communications’ Katye McGregor Bennett back for 2021 with online programming ahead of the show, new product coverage live from the show, and recaps afterward to keep the conversation going.”
Jason McGraw, Group Vice President, CEDIA Expo & KBIS
“Design Uncut provides a wonderfully casual and informative opportunity for brands and channel partners to connect with the residential design and construction community. Veronika and Katye encourage conversations about topics many want to ask but are embarrassed or afraid to bring forward. Their ability to deconstruct products, services and programs helps make sense of it all. They uncomplicate the sometimes very complicated and do so joyfully.”Sherry Qualls – Principal White Good Agency
“KBIS Virtual 2021 offered audiences four unique Design Uncut sessions that continue to draw additional viewers long after the show. The talks are on-point, fresh and engaging and because each session is on video, audiences can learn about topics at the intersection of design and technology through visual case studies and detailed renderings, images and animations. “
Jason McGraw, Group Vice President, CEDIA Expo & KBIS
